BIO

JT is a versatile Bass Player that lays down the groove and is down for the cause. Making melodic hooks for the soul with a fresh sound. JT has an extensive background in performing and teaching. He is a poised and charismatic soloist and ensemble performer who quickly masters new repertoires in a broad range of musical styles.


The Puerto Rican-native’s creative style is a blend of jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop, funk, reggae(ton), salsa, and electronic grooves. JT has performed alongside and recorded for well-known musicians and bands, including: Melted Vinyl, Madelin Rosene, Gary Brandon (White Sister), Freddie Santiago Campos, Jack Landry, Jomo Pemberton, Snow In Africa, Vozegata, Natalia Guzman & Capitan Fermin.


With more than 10 years of experience, JT has played and toured with some of the biggest artists in Puerto Rico. Having studied at the Conservatorio de Music de Puerto Rico, JT learned from jazz legends like Eddie Gomez and Gary Van Scyoc who taught him to constantly grow his musical artistry. Through session work, touring, and self dedication JT keeps discovering new sounds for the bass guitar, adding spice to every new artist’s sound, and influencing his peers.
